Hitachi technology once again delivers sharp, smooth performance in a big screen unit. With high-resolution (1366x768) in a 16:9 aspect ratio, the 55HDM71 achieves an unsurpassed plasma picture. The 55” Plasma screen size incorporates 20% more picture area than a 50” screen size. Hitachi’s new 10 bit image processing insures rich picture quality with 1.07-Billion color display capability, and a High Contrast Black Rib Structure ensures excellent contrast and deep blacks with any source material or viewing environment.
